As a Senior Assistant Audit & Assurance at Mazars, you perform audit work for clients from various sectors at different locations.

What will you do?

As a Senior Assistant Audit at Mazars Netherlands, you will play a key role in the assurance services provided to our diverse portfolio of clients. You will collaborate closely with the audit team to plan and execute audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and control evaluation.
  • Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and other audit procedures to gather audit evidence.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Analyze financial statements, identifying discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Prepare detailed audit workpapers and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the professional development of junior team members.
